Community Regatta

The Brave Hearts Dragon Boat Club, a project of Brave Hearts on the Murray Inc., is holding its 11th Annual Dragon Boat Community Regatta at Gateway Lakes, Albury Wodonga on Sunday 11th November 2018. The Regatta involves up to 28 teams from local businesses, community organisations and schools venturing onto the water to battle it out in dragon boat racing.

Brave Hearts Dragon Boat Club Albury Wodonga has a long, rich history, originating as a breast cancer survivors’ project of Brave Hearts on the Murray Inc. The Regatta is run entirely by volunteers as a fun community day raising awareness of the dragon boat sport and of local cancer support groups. The event attracts approximately 600 paddlers and up to 2000 spectators. The Regatta is supported by both City of Wodonga and Albury City Councils.

If you are interested in entering a team, or would like to enter as an individual paddler (we can find a team for you), please contact our Community Regatta Co-Ordinator at

or like and share our regatta facebook page
